Jazz choruses rule. We had one (A 120) for our high school amp. Really wanted to steal it when I graduated. It was stereo and the chorus was so lush. Best clean tone ever as well.

That tele bass is killer.

Your Mig is so much nicer than mine.

Thanks. I actually replaced the jacks, switches and pilot light to stronger stuff. I was always afraid of breaking the plastic switches. But if you saw a clearer picture of my amp you would see some paint scuffed off behind the knobs at about 12 o clock since the knobs were scratching the pannel. So it isn't pristine.

When I got mine the jacks had all been done, and I had been playing it for all of half an hour when it burnt a power tube out. The sockets had all but disintegrated, so I've done that one, just gotta do the rest. Also need to do my switches...labour of loud ass love.
Mine is so scratched behind the knobs its rusting, and the white layer of wood they have that I assume was supposed to resemble piping, has gone some yellow-esque colour. Also, my tolex (or Russian equivalent) looks like ass.
Should probably do the caps before they explode as well, I guess. But I really like the way it sounds now and I don't wanna mess with it too much.

Nice ones, dude!

splendid! are they sealed or ported? if sealed, could you please measure them?

they are both 28.5x28x14.25. but they each have a 5.5" round port.

Scabiosa: I found it too muddy with guitar going throug Alesis Quadraverb and this. I like my new Peavey Standard way better so I´ll probably end up selling it...But i would definitely give it try with bass! Can´t speak of myself, because I´ve never played bass through it. My favourite treble and bass setting was all dimed all the way up.

Moustache: I really really dig it! Haven´t had a chance to try it at rehearsal volume but at room volume it´s so good. Really like the clean sounds with jazzmaster. Best spent 50$ in my entire life :joy:

If you have more questions, send me PM. Hope it helped ;)

Swapped some pedals with a dude and ended up with a Sunn Sonic 1 I-40 head and a homemade 2x10" cabinet. I am in love.

Just got this today. Pretty much brand new. Sat in a closet since the 80s. Now I need to get a decent guitar to go along with it...

Been toying with the idea of a JC50. May be one of my summer purchases.

Do eet. They're incredible little amps. Loud and clean just like a JC should be. I had a JC-120 a while back and they sound identical minus the stereo chorus. I really lucked out on this one as decent deals on Craigslist are few and far between in these parts.

I got excited cause there was a JC50 in a local guitar center. Then I got sad when I realized it barely worked and would have needed lots of repairs to make it playable.

They're super easy repairs, IMHO.
