Very cool, I like it! I'm gonna start with trying to modulate gain with a sine wave and take it from there...

Cool! sine might sound kinda beachy, like waves rolling in. Square wave gain mod- would kinda sound like a tremolo on a clean signal except half of every cycle belts out white noise. 8 patches... So many possibilities in this pedal...

I'm becoming somewhat obsessed with the idea of learning how to program with one of these. Could you maybe direct me to a good read for this?

Absolutely! Go through the knowledge base and the forum and read it all, there's so much info provided it's awesome.

I recommend getting the dev board too, you get it at OCT Distribution and it's about 100 bucks.

And post in here if you get stuck or whatever and we'll figure it out! Learning this new language has been the most fun I've had with electronics since I first learned electronics, it's too cool.

This is slick! Where've I been?

I'd suggest a mix on the bitcrusher.

Also, soft to hard clipping on the TS OD?

And maybe a distortion/fuzz/bit with a gate that goes fully noisy to almost bleeps its so gated.

An random LFO on the modulated one!

Lol.

Mix on the bitcrusher (and every patch), done! Soft to hard clipping, I don't know, there's just gain, man, that's all I know, not done! Very aggressive gate, done! Random LFO, I don't think the FV-1 has a provision for random and I don't think I'm smart enough for that, not done!

I haven't spent any time on this in the last month but I do have the pcb layout finished and the box sample sent out, so I'm ready to go.. still need a name too...

haha right on, I dig those! Digitbutcher!

For awhile I was thinking Binary Brute... then I was thinking Digital Adventurer.. I usually have the name ready before the pedal is finished but this one's a toughie...
