Been in Chicago the past few days! Met Marr XD

Loved getting to go to Chicago music exchange, the jag/JM wall was awesome, white w/ matching headstock jag was the tits. Most importantly I came for the Johnny Marr show. My best friend and I ended up getting to talk to him for a bit which was really cool. Plus he signed my Jagumarr book! Usually not huge on autographs and such but since mine wasn't the one of the first 100 I had to get it signed myself

Aww man, I totally forgot you were in Chicago now. It was a really quick in and out thing. I'll be back in a couple months and we will definitely meet up!

Johnny is easily one of my favorite guitarists. That must hav been a pleasure to meet him.

Yea, definitely. I'm not real big on waiting to meet famous people or whatever, I just really wanted my book signed. Ended up having a real cool conversation about the guitar, he told me he used 11's and I told him I used 11 flat wounds on it and he said "wow, I never considered that, I bet it sounds excellent, I'm going to try that as well." So I can only hope in some small way I will effect his playing haha
