yah. you could just go out the headphone jack. some apps will let you save sounds and export them, some you can save and drop into other apps.

i use the IO Dock for my 'pad, so i usually just mic the cab i play through and record it like that.

ioDock is a big ass plastic thingie with lots of in/outs. You can slide the iPad in and have full on guitar cable plugs, Midi access et al.
There is also an iMix thing by Alesis, which is tailored towards home recording. You get four tracks (I think) with separate controls but no Midi.



I came here to post this video for the people that use Bitwiz. These lines of code can be copied and will work the same way as in the video, albeit sound much better running on Bitwiz.

ugh. so HAWT.

i love the idea of stuff like that, but i'd dig on those TOAAAAANZ with an easier, more precise interface.
