when i was stationed in texas i used to eat whataburger, which is terrible and if you eat it wasted you're gonna have a bad time. that being said, if you find yourself on a military base, charlies is a cheesesteak place that has tolerable cheesesteaks and vinegar fries. popeyes is forever legit.

The one time I went to In N Out it was garbage. So disappointing. It was all lettuce and tomato and no burger.

tx burgers are usually simple. but huge! if you know where to go. my picture is on the wall at this one place, RG's. they do have a curry burger sometimes. it's the most delicious thing I've jammed into my mouth in all my life.

is the OP staying on the west coast? my burger experience there is limited to an overpriced waste of time in san fran. and some tacos in san diego. and of course in-n-out. it's good. I like how they make the fries. but you gotta get to the fat states to get the good shit.

If you want an amazing burger make my special Brunch Burger.

1-2 patties depending on size (if you make your own patties I like to do 3/4 ground beef, 1/4 ground turkey, with minced sweet onions and garlic, and black pepper)
A fried egg
2-4 strips of thick cut bacon
Avocado slices
Extra sharp cheddar (or other preferred cheese)
Enchilada sauce
On a toasted everything bagel

damn! that sounds awesome. beef and turkey? crazy. i'm down. RG's (the best place in town) has a brunch burger too. burgers for breakfast for life!

does California have Home Depot's? if so, do they have a guy that sells hot dogs out front? if so, get one.

lulz. That's literally a combination of my two favorite burgers from this place by where I used to work: the "texas" (bacon+fried egg) and a i-don't-remember-what-they-called-it turkey burger+avocado+some spicy enchilada-esque sauce. :thumb:
