Yeah, I was gonna vote in and out burger. I went to Cali on vacation a few years ago, really good for cheapo fast burgers. My family really likes Culver's/Steak n shake burgers. I don't jive too well but it may be worth a shot. Get a milkshake while you're at it! :)

Five Guys Burgers and Fries, Smash Burger and Bachi Burger are all good but too expensive for what they are.

If you end up coming my way to Las Vegas, go to the fucking Heart Attack Grill.

One of my life goals is to eat at the heart attack.

I know, my goals are pretty lame :p

Not a lot of cool Fast Food places within a short walking distance of me so I end up at Taco Bell quite a bit :(

my issue with places like five guys, smashburger, mooya, etc that are somewhere between fast food and sit down restaurant is that they griddle up these thin patties and stack em up to make it thicker. I want one thick ass beef patty. and maybe sweet potato fries.

I eat at a place called roosters sometimes. I only get the Big A burger. instead of buns it has grilled cheese sandwiches. and a fried egg on top. texas is the reason.

it is amazing. they also have a brisket burger. and a slider challenge. you have to eat 18 sliders and a pound of bacon cheese fries in 30 minutes. I only ate 14 sliders and half the fries. it hurt.

if not burgers, find a taqueria and get an asada torta. they got that out west.

Brisket burger sounds quite nice.

Do you have places with chef's who are like burger scientists or do they normally just try to go one up on eachother in moreishness?
I'm talking names and sourcing locations of every ingredient and the reasons why they go together in crazy ways.
