nice Bee Baa! that's one of the circuits i haven't had a chance to try, ands it seems like big fun.

one great thing about the Bass 30 is that it's the same wattage as my Laney VC30 and so i could run in stereo or mix/match the timbres. the K'zoo with the Jensen 10s will contrast nicely with the Laney's 12" low-frequency greenback Celestions.

The good thing about those cheap Fender amps is they're all over craigslist all the time. Just make sure you try it out thoroughly before laying down that money. The HRDx I bought a few years ago has this hiss I could never get rid of. I'm about to gut that fuck and build a point to point single channel Deluxe.

It's a cheap used one and I have store credit. I didn't notice any problems.

Also I have enough anxiety issues with driving. I'm not willing to try bartering with strangers in person.

Nice. Yeah I don't ever really haggle with people in person; the details are set up by email. Like, if the stuff works, I just give them what we agreed by email (which is usually what they asked, because if they are asking a lot in their ad, I don't bother). The barter system in the musical instrument community is an important tradition, though. Gear for gear!

Gold is the money of kings; silver is the money of gentlemen; barter is the money of peasants; but debt is the money of slaves.

Thinking of grabbing it, anyone have experience with one?

I've got an Ibanez ES-339 copy from around then, and it kills. I'd snag that for that money. Great guitars from Ibanez in that era.

So i'm looking for a cheap, shitty, noisy high gain distortion pedal. Not for metal.

Digitech Deathmetal y/n?

If you wanted even noisier and shittier you could go for Zoom or Arion.

I've got the Fender Starcaster Distortion, which is good for this purpose. It's supposed to be a Boss MT-2 clone. It has obnoxious filters which would serve noise well, I think. You'd have to fix the bypass in the Starcaster, though.

RRR arrived, and daaaaamn. I totally get the hype, this thing is awesome. Leslie mode is sooo nice. Got a bit of a dilemma though because while the RRR sounds way better than the Hall of Fame in general, the HoF does things the RRR doesn't like crazily long decays and modulated reverb, both of which I love. But 2 verbs seems excessive! hmm...
