I have been working out and working hard for almost 2 months now, it is amazing how much this has changed me. Not only am I getting lighter and fitter but I have more mental energy for things that I have been plotting and scheming to do for what seems too long now. I felt that I kind of blew my late teens and 20's by not doing much and making choices that were not that good for me.
I've been working out as well. It's been a little over 2 months for me. I don't know what took me so long... Best decision I've made in a while.

And yeah, you're right that I could just not use the blend, and that is often what I end up doing. But I've found that a lot of times, pedal makers slap a clean blend on to a fuzz pedal, and then don't bother tweaking it to make the non-blended fuzz sound good. Like, they just assume that all bassists are gonna use the blend, so they don't bother giving the fuzz tone any low-end retention.
yah. that's a valid point. a fuzz should sound good with it all the way wet or they're not doing their job. or it's just not the right pedal.
UGH. so. was getting this super annoying whine out of my board. it's all my fault 'cause i just threw it together before the last practice. i did silly stuff like run digital stuff on the same daisy chain as heavy gain stuff that REALLY amplifies any interference. just got everything off and laid out in the order they go in, board flipped over so i can be super meticulous checking what needs it's own output and what is cool chained together. the Cioks is HUGE, but i still have a few too many pedz to give everything it's own output.
iiiiiii'm.... KINDA enjoying it. but i used to LOVE troubleshooting and spending hours tearing apart a computer or equipment or software to find what weird thing is going on and what weirder fix works.
i'm still a nerd, but i don't want to do that shit any more. i just want everything nerdy i have to WORK. blegh.

Maaaaaaaan, I just found a monster of a tone using my EQD Talons OD into the Ezekiel Clone I got from Behndorz for Sekrit Santa - got the Talons on a nice crunchy (but still bassy) Marshally OD, and the Ezekiel kind of proto-fuzz wooly, with just a bit of the blend up to let some of the un-Eziekieled Talons shine through. It is MEAN!
But yeah. That's about my only use for the blendage. Personally and whatnot.
