I'll try to shoot another video tonight to keep the GAS goin. Last night I got it closer to the Diysb schematic and now its quiet when not playing thanks to Dinos pointers.
I have 9v positive and 9 volt negative for the power which calls for 12 V + and - in the originals. I think this will improve things especially with the trigger and preamp's interaction as Dino noted how they work with one another. Right now with 9 volts there's not a whole lot of play with these two controls so I'll see if I have the parts to solve that. The above and getting the last mixing stage going which I haven't touched since originally laying it out will be tonight's test. Im anxious to get it in a fucking box. I love it...

Yeah if pcbs were made I'd try my damnedest to make it. Even if I ended up paying more than a unit…maybe.

Re: INFANEM HarmonySynth vs Snazzy MiniArk - Schumann PLL'es
Here are the two versions. As I said before, both work, but the differences are;
- The unit Water Places sent me (the one I have here) is more stable. The octave effects are a bit less voluminous, but the Multiplier side doesn't get all glitchy and freaky on the decay when the trigger is leaning to the negative voltage side. The octave, or harmony effect is smoother. Fuzz is very good. Any reduction in volume of the octaves can be made up for with the Multiplier/Divider volume controls. There's enough dial to take care of that. Schematic and vero would be as follows;

- Other than differences in some resistor values reported, the KindaFuzzy unit (unit pictures and trace available at FSB forum) is less stable with the 12 and 13/14 pins wired opposite. When leaning the trigger to the negative voltage side, the upper octave decay is glitchy and messy. The fuzz is the same as the Water Places unit. Multiplier and Divider volumes are louder as well. Again, volumes can handle this easily. I didn't bother changing the resistor values, since I don't think it would make a huge difference to the circuit overall. The wiring from the last op amp of the TL074 is the real crux here. Schematic and vero would be as follows;

All I can say at this point would be to try both, and go with what you like best. Or, use a DPDT switch, to switch between the two different wire connections. Kind of a Dr. Jekyll / Mr. Hyde switch. Just pull the two jumpers out, from pins 12 and 13/14 of the TL074, and wire a DPDT switch in their place, in a reversing configuration.
I don't know much about CMOS circuits, but as artifus warned me, the possibilities and tweaks could be endless. Just doing my best to report what I find. And maybe learn something along the way.

The first Valkyrie Phase Locked Looping System (including all attachments) will be available via the Circuits to Cure Cancer benefit auctions starting on the 18th in a 1/1 (SN STS51L) hand etched and painted 'heavy flow' finish. Website, price, and order information for the far more conservative commercial model will be available soon after. The brain is still doing some tweaks to send the bass response of both dividers to angler fish depths. Heres a couple crappy pictures of it during testing (sentinel drone switch out of shot).
Looking forward to this!
