Believe it or not, all of the people I've bought from and sold to on CL have been cool. Because they're all musicians, I'm assuming, there isn't an awkward void of what to say or talk about-just nerd out about gear! Also, I buy stuff kinda by neighborhood, most of teh stuff I've bought is from other suburban people. I've never looked for people to play with though.
