I love the part where he's running up to a regular enemy and gets one-shotted by the dude's throwing axe. He had a huge life bar too. Definitely feels like Dark Souls.

i've been loving Badland on the 'pad. 's kinda a rip off of Noir visually, but not as depressing spooky. running through the puzzles has made me giggle with glee a bunch.

Join a good corp. There's no fast track to anything in EVE, you'll always be playing keep-up with people who have been training for years.
Also brush up on your Microsoft Excel skills and get a comfortable chair

I also seem to get buzzed while grinding skill levels in RPGs or else I'll loose my mind from boredom if I were to do it sober. Wake up in the morning and be pleasantly surprised. It's how I maxed Illusion, Conjuration and Archery in Skyrim.

i never really liked any of the Betheseda rpg's. not Fallout, not Oblivion, not DragonPoon. i didn't really give SkyRimJob a chance though. played it for like an hour and was all, "yahp. 's Oblivion Plus. MEH.".

but maybe that's just me. maybe i suck. i've been playing Bioshock Infinite all day and i.... don't see what all of the Game Of The Year hype is about. it's fun, but it's nowhere near as engrossing as the story was in 1 or 2. i guess i like the Bella From Beast And The Beauty grrL you're rescuing ok, but like.... in 1 and 2 any time i had to kill or save a little sister i felt something or the sobbing of a splicer kr the FUCK FUCK FUCK RUN when a Big Daddy showed up and i was way too underpowered to take it on.

Infinite's good game. but.... not really that special.

although all the racist shit is handled really well. has me cringing appropriately.

The thing that I found weird was that the storyline has a good violence will lead to consequence and bad decisions will come back and get you. The gameplay consists or headshotting a kazillion guards and drinking weird liquids that gives you power. A bit inconstant.

Also finding a box of cereal along with RPG ammo in a guys pants is kind of funny.


As for Bethesda, I think of it like digital LARPing. I get why people don't like them, but I love fantasy games with exploration and experimentation without obscene plots. I can fill in the blanks.

My gf bought a 3dsXL and I'm impressed with the 3d. I've seen and played them at displays and was not impressed. But holding it at the right angle and playing pokemon mystery dungeon in 3d is fucking awesome. I have to get the Ocarina of Time now.

Fallout 3 & New Vegas was some of my favorite gaming of this generation. Skyrim and oblivion are cool, too. But I really dig the post apocalyptic shit
