i love how that sounds out of context. without the nerdy understandings of pedals.

Ordered a strap for my rickenbacker from couch straps. Just one of theses http://www.couchguitarstraps.com/the-pl ... -p-22.html, but it should look cool.
And I mean, under $20? How can I go wrong? Grabbed a new belt and a wallet too! Cool website! Wish I would have known about it before.

Couch is the best! Try one of their vinyl straps next, they're super comfortable.

What kind of Rickenbacker do you have? I dunno if Rickenbacker still makes them but their guitars used to come with a pretty cool leather strap and I have one (wish I had the guitar it came with). It's like a really skinny leather strip with a little leather shoulder pad. It's pretty uncomfortable but they look really cool

A 620 in jetglo!
I got it pretty recently. I should probably post some pictures, but I'm lazy.
I absolutely love it. It plays totally different than any other guitars I have or have played really. A little different than what I usually go for, but I love the sound of it. It's got a brightness to it, but it's really full sounding. Dig it for sure.
Mine didn't come with a strap like that. Sounds neat.

Sweet. Excited to try this out. Pretty cool they make vegan stuff too. I recently went vegan after being vegetarian for years, so bonus for these guys. Shipping was only $10 too, which wasn't bad.
Do you know if they post new stuff a lot? I want to keep an eye on their limited edition stuff. I can see I've already missed some pretty cool stuff.

Sign up for their mailing list to get updates from them! The emails are always full of really tempting stuff though.

I'm mad jealous of the 620. I'm pretty sure that or a 360 will be my next guitar. A black and white racer x strap would be PRIME for your Rick.

Ugh, I love Couch. I already have the strap planned out for the guitar I want to buy. I absolutely love their vinyl stuff.

Couch straps are amazing!!! I've got 5 now.... Black Vinyl, Brown Vinyl, Grey Seatbelt, and 2 Army Green Seatbelt's. They're extremely comfortable, and come in extended lengths that nobody else does, which is awesome for a 6'5" dude who likes his bass down near his knees  Super well built, vegan friendly, and economical. Winning.

What is the comfort like on the seatbelt vs vinyl? I'm looking to get one for my P-Bass.

Vinyl is far superior as far as comfort, but I use a seatbelt on my p-bass and have no issues. It can get tiresome after 90 minutes or so, but I haven't found a single strap yet that combats that. The seatbelt is superior in the flexibility and light weight departments. If you move around alot on stage and you only play 30-45 minute sets the seatbelt style will probably be more your flavor, if your up on stage for an hour plus at a time and you don't go crazy then the Vinyl's comfort will probably win out for you.

Do you recommend the seatbelt for going crazy because the vinyl grips more?

I'm in the "going crazy on stage" camp and all my couch straps are vinyl.
