um. it's sorta slapped together because i'm still mooooooostly high as butts. but i was sleeping on how useful playing with the Gliss is. giving it a lag on bringing in chords and using the Whatever The First Knob Is I Call It S BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT MINE'S SAYS DAMNIT to change the decay lengths up to infinitely held stuff is pretty fucking cool.

Dr B cabs - BUY! Seriously, if Serio hadn't become a completely untrustworthy douche-canoe, he could be well one of the most underrated cab builders around; as it is tho, the only way I'd recommend them, and about the only way to even get them at all, is used.

Dr B cab labels - they're only stuck onto the grill with a bit of hot-glue and pop right off; alt method is a bit of black tape over the 'B', if you want to make a public statement.

Dr B cab karma - considering that a lot of people have never even heard of the brand (Serio claims to have about 2K total built), I wouldn't worry about townsfolk with torches and pitchforks. Remove/alter the labels and if anyone actually does ask what they are, tell them the truth.

I'm quietly watching this 1x15 on eBay at the moment. I'm hoping that my EHX or Sansamp loving Aussie bass playing brothers and sisters have a similar depth of cab knowledge. Noob question: what is this giant thread?

So I went and saw Yes at Foxwoods last night. Squire's bass tone was fucking BEASTLY.

Then after the concert, we went into the casino and played craps for a few hours. I'm on a pretty sick streak of winning the last few times I went gambling. This time I came away with several hundred bucks, which is going to allow me to move forward on a few more synth modules right away.

I saw Yes tour when they came to Dallas. It was pretty good. dudes are so old now. Some songs were played kinda slow, keyboardist was weakest link for sure. replacement singer was decent, I can definitely hear the difference. Esp when he sang Going For The One.
