slother42 on this board did it for me.

the two added knobs are for input volume and starve, there's also another switch for different osc mode.

input volume knob is the most useful mod among all IMO, though it's the same as backing off guitar volume. There are a great variaty of fuzzy overdrive tones from Neil young to Jack White can be found just play with input volume and texture knob, and step on 05 side it's MBV kind of bright shining rhythem tone.

The fuzzy overdrive tones TP is capable of make durham crazy horse sounds like a joke in side by side comparison...

BTW - if anyone is interested, here's a link to a demo with a bunch of clips I did of the Space Station modes a while back:

I got my XP-1000 directly from Adam at Guitargeek for $300. Absolutely worth it. Space Station + Whammy alone is worth it, and the Modulator and Reverberator modes are just gravy.

I got lucky and picked up a 300 a while ago for $250 on HC. It's a blast. They do pop up on ebag every once in a while, $350-400 seems to be the going price. There's actually one on there now for $400 w/buy it now. The 1000s are a sweet deal because you get all in one box. I found one on TGP a few months ago for a buddy for $300. Only thing I didn't like was you have to power down to switch between series. Still a great deal. Another option is to try and grab an XP100 or 400 for cheap and get Adam to convert it to a 1000, he was doing it for around $150, may be more now.
