Yea, that's smart thinking. Ugh, really don't want to wait around for one i like to pop up on ebay. theirs one right now, but its a tad higher than i would hope or can spend at the moment. hopefully it gets relisted, lower when i have the fundsAncient Astronaught wrote:Well if I find one on eBay and someone gets into a bidding war with me I'll know who it is.the Life Aquatic wrote:Definatly gonna go the used route, just check ebay and the used prices are sooooo much lower.Just gotta wait for one to pop up that I like.
If quality and everything is as good as people say for agiles, i could get one used for less than Schecters low level omen 8.
haha this is not helping my GAS.![]()
It really is as good as the reviews. I've had a couple Agiles and they all lived up to expectations. I had an AL-3000m which was their top LP style model back then and it easily matched the (now sub-par) quality of a Gibson Standard for 1/4 the cost. The 828 didn't let me down either, it was built like a tank, super smooth playing, and well balanced. They cut corners in the right places, mainly in pickups and electronics. Kurt learned early on that everyone buying agiles was swapping out the pickups pretty much regardless so he started ordering them with the cheapest ones he could find to keep prices down, or to allow them to refocus those costs into the actual woodworking or R&D.
It's not helping mine either hahahahaha

Yep, polish dudes. Will check out earforce!phantasmagorovich wrote:goroth wrote:I emailed Laboga, mostly cos I was listening to a whole lot of Vader all day. Anyway, the long and short of it is that they are considering starting up a real deal custom shop again. They were kinda shocked at the timing of my email (which really was random). Anyways, I sent them some specs and they're going to get back to me. Even if I don't end up going that route (see funding probs) ill keep everyone posted.
Laboga are the dudes from Poland, right?
Do you know Earforce? Might be an idea.

Been looking at Traktor recently as well, might have to sell a few pedals to get it.Muse FTW wrote:I just saw some footage of Atoms for Peace performing 'DJ sets' which consist of Nigel mixing and doing some shit with the NI Traktor stuffs, and then Thom using the Machinedrum as well as another mixer which sends either his voice, his guitar, or the Machinedrum through reverb, delay, etc... and it sounded amazing. All of the tracks melded into one another and it was very organic, even with the Machinedrum.
GAS list now includes: Machinedrum, Moog Delay, Moog Sub-Phatty, Strymon Shit, and Traktor gear+software. I'd love to integrate the Traktor into the Maschine shit I do right now. NI makes good stuffs.

All of the sceptics from the empress thread can eat a schlong. Dennis's demos are always great. This is no exception. Empress is always rad.
