4 NEW PEDALS FROM LASTGASP ART LABORATORIES REVIEW & VIDEOS

Post by Kayzer »

I just received those 4 new LastGasp Pedals and since those demos came out pretty awesome i like to share them with you guys.
I really hope you are as excited as i am about Lastgasp Pedals, they are different and i always have lots of use for them to make Songs sounding unique and bigger when i am recording in studios.

The Misty Cave is pretty weird Echo/Reverb/Chorus/Flange Pedal, its hard to explain but its abit like a flanger without the LFO.
Whats special about this Pedal? It tracks specific notes and sustains those and the pedal also sounds rad once used after oscillators or other noise makers…

The Gomorrah is LastGasps version of a synth style Octave down Fuzz and its pretty thick, wild and heavy.
There is some kind of arpeggiator going on once the tracking is set counter clockwise and the guitar tone is fading out / deceasing in volume…

The Octavella is a heavy Octave Up fuzz, which is able to Oscillate.
Octave Up is very present and heavy while the pedal can sound very fragile which leads to awesome Radiohead like guitar tones…

The Sandstorm is definitely a noise maker, the envelope works pretty damn nice and i was able to finde some awesome percussive sounds in this little monster.
The White Noise itself is also something i am going to use live to do interludes in between songs like i did in the demo together with the LAL 87 Fuzz…

I need that Sandstorm. I wonder how well it would play with a contact mic.

The Misty Cave is pretty...i guess it's using an LFO to modulate the signal using a frequency in the regular audio range?

the Sandstorm may have the most appropriate name in the history of effects. the percussive aspect particularly appeals to me as a way to create drum parts when looping. interesting that with this and the Rainger ATC there's a mini-boom in white noise/envelope follower boxes

I like the Misy Cave. The sample bit sounds like guitar in 'Tenants' by Siouxie and the Bs.
...or something...

Congrats, please post results when it arrives!
Super interested in it, just trying to figure out if it's worth the extra money over a copilot arrow airwaves.

I always loved Lastgasp pedals.
and yesterday after pondering between an Octavella or a Sooper Fuzz... finally I ended up ordering a LLuna oscillo fuzz!
