Alright guiz. I got out the rest of the tequila. It's not going down as easily as the other night, but I'll certainly get a little sloppy. I need some ILF bros to drink with tonight.
I just wrote a big post about how most people don't know what the hell they're talking about with SCOTUS hearing about DOMA and Prop 8, and my whole legaleze, SCOTUS-geek opinion on the whole issue. Then deleted it.
And for the record. There's no way any reading of the Equal Protection Clause allows for neither DOMA NOR Prop 8.

I know an old dude who s from detroit. Back in the 70s at his first day on the ford assembly line someone sold him mescaline. That just sounds horrifying, i mean i could see if u were there for a while and just bored, but like being bombarded with all this new information and new weird people
Not sure why i thought of that, i like to do the opposite of concentrate on shit like that manggggg

I mean, Detroit in the 70's was an interesting time I'm sure.
Yeah, that sounds pretty terrible. (taking mescaline first day on the job that is)
But yeah. Mr.pigmaker, let us talk about you. how are yout how's your life going (don't be afraid if it's shit, I've been there. You can share if you're ready, or not if you're not ready)?
EDIT: I wanted to call you Mr. pigmaker, because I don't really know you at all. It's a small internet community, but we all respect each other, and I haven't been around lately, but you've joined lately, and you have a Pink Floyd avatar which makes you fucking awesome.

Hey i thought the pink floyd avatar was really an unimaginative choice but thats cool. My life is actually pretty good right now but has been shit for a couple years until recently, things are good now and generally feel pretty lucky
How bout yourself there???

well my life was kind total shit for like three years(like, before I joined this site, not after) until recently, but now I start a new job next monday and get to move out of my parent's house a month after that.
And anybody who at least kinda likes Pink Floyd (they're my second favorite band), will love an Animals avatar.
And really Pink Floyd were my favorite band until Skeletal Lamping by Of Montreal came out. I didn't even really like Of Montreal that much until I got into that album, but now they're my no. 1 band with Floyd as a very close second.

pigmaker wrote:Nice, yeah king crimson and pink floyd are my 1a and 1b. Sadly ive never heard that om album ill check that out for sure
um, whaaaa-
EDIT: Wait, that actually makes sense. I thought you were talking about Om. But yeah Skeletal Lamping is awesome. It's not for everyone, but I think it's a-fuckng-mazing. You gotta listen to it, from the beginning to end. If you listen to like 6 or 7 tracks and decide you don't like it, that's fine, but before that, you gotta bear through it. I thought everything was amazing the first time though.

All of my Of Montreal loving friends are Hissing Fauna, Are You The Destroyer people whereas I am definitely a Skeletal Lamping bro *fist bumps available*. It's one of those albums I come back to year after year and I never get sick of it. It has something totally indefinable. I think most people are put off by the fact that it's a bit all over the place (which I love). Also, I fucking love Women's Study Victims, I always start strutting when I listen to it and eventually just start dancing along the street looking like a total fucking idiot. Probably my favorite on the album next to perhaps Plastis Wafers.
U guys are pretty convincing ill def check that out, i have at leastthe one of their albums not sure which, i have so much music i ll neverlive long enough to hear itall

Yeah, I know what you mean. I cured that by a) buying music as much as I could and b) getting myself a little cowon media player that could player FLAC files, investing in some good headphones and only keeping 5 albums on it a month. Every month I would change them out. It's a good way to make yourself really invest in albums and get to know them and it also stops you from spending too much money. Worked for me anyways.
