Re: General Dunwich Thread
I would like to take this opportunity to mention that Dunwich Stonehenge #001 is for sale. It is a non master volume 100 watt plexi type with sweet mods.
- more darkly voiced in general than your average plexi
- separate high and low gain inputs that are blendable via the front panel and can be swapped/defeated via footswitch
- depth control
- mids shift control
- external bias reading and adjustment
Am I forgetting anything Nick?
There is one fairly insignificant problem. The headshell is very small and tight fitting. The amp took a small bump in shipping and one of the transformer mounts bent by less than a quarter of an inch. Sadly this is enough that it bumps into the headshell when trying to slide the chassis out. Not a big deal, especially as all tubes can be removed and bias can be adjusted without removal of the chassis. One small board of the headshell would have to be whittled on/removed in order to remove the chassis.
Keep in mind that wait times for a Dunwich amplifier of any sort now stand at over a year and that this thing is priced well below the kind of deal Nick will be able to offer for future Stonehenge builds.
$1000 if you can come get it from me. If you live elsewhere, then add actual shipping plus $20 handling. Why $20? Because I'll take it over to Soldano and have my boy Russ pack it just like they pack an SLO to go overseas. It's worth it.
All of the following videos feature this amplifier as played by Nick himself.

Shit, that is sweet looking!
Did you post it over in the BST too? Lot's of people come only to look there so it might increase your chances if you got it in there too. That said: Don't do it. Instead give it to me in exchange for a warm handshake and something creepy. I will do my best.

Re: General Dunwich Thread
I'll take this chance to introduce myself to the crew! My name is Magic, you can call me Merlin if you like! I'm an avid doomer (not as much so online) and have been fuddling with circuits/building pedals for a few years now. Have been working on a project for awhile now called the Shrine Fuzz named after a good buddies band "The Shrine." About to go into commercial production very soon, even though I've been selling more DIY copies made completely at home for a year or so now.
But more importantly I am joining this wonderful audiophile on his adventures to bring doomtastic tones to all who desire it. Will post pictures of my first Dunwich build as soon as I get a chance.
So here's some SPAM for now
Shrine Fuzz

Nick's Shrine Fuzz Demo
