Professional clothes
So I'm totally redoing my wardrobe for my move to Switzerland. My professional clothes are a little dated, so I'm looking for new stuff. Anyone have any links to online stores that have good modern styles?

How professional?
Like you gotta be suited up?
Or you have to have a shirt?

Shirt and tie at the least and within the range of dress casual to business casual and full dress.

I really like Banana Republic, personally. They always seem to be having sales and their dressier stuff is actually really comfortable for me.

True dat. Haven't worn denim in over a year...
I usually buy all my shit off eBay just on principle.
I don't know what size you are, but Jil Sander, Raf Simons, Neil Barrett, and Prada all make nice, slim fitting suits and can be had for under $300 on the 'Bay.
ie: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mens-Neil-Bar ... 1e7879ab6b
Yoox.com has some decent discounts. There's a bunch of mid-level Italian brands that no one's ever heard of on there that can be worth checking out.
There's some other invitation only discount site I can hook you up with if you want, but they're usually more like $400+ for more name brand suits.
Or you can just buy a bunch of COS shit when you're over there.

I also like Banana Republic, especially their non-iron dress shirts. Uniqlo also has some nice stuff and its cheaper, but the quality isn't quite as good as BR, but close. For nice inexpensive suits, chech out SuitSupply.com. Macy's also has some great sales (Calvin Klein suits for 200 bucks), as does Brooks Brothers.

Re: Professional clothes
Some of my favorite non-iron dress shirts are the Nordstrom brand dress shirts, but I've never been able to find one as good as the first that I got like five years back. Le sigh.
I'm more like a mids-ist than a bassist.

Banana Republic is good for business casual. If you know anyone that works there, ask for their friends and family discount--gives you 50% off

Maybe Bluefly?
I'm probably not the best person to ask...most of the time I don't even wear shoes to work.
