Thanks buddy!!!! I'm happy as well, as with any band theres always some turbulence, but its in all of our best interests to smooth out any issues and we've spent the last couple weeks purposely fixing any issues and streamlining our setup. So that everyone is less stressed and has more space on stage. And its helped immensely, everyone is at a good mood at practice now.

At first our drummer was pushing for me to cut my setup in half or switch to combos, and everyone else saw that as the doorway to everyone having to do shit so we banded together and collectively said no. My big thing was that slimming down wasn't going to save space since I stack everything vertically, so I am switching back to a PT Jr for my bass board since theres alot of open space on the PT1 right now and reducing the horizontal footprint will make things easier for me. And I'm letting the synth player run the synth bass through my bass rig, and we were able to eliminate the keyboard players guitar pedalboard and amp since theres no song where all 4 guitars were being used simultaneously, so now we combined his board and our singers board and run it all through her amp. It's cut out a 4x10 bass rig, a 2x12 guitar amp, and a pedalboard and makes setup tear down so much quicker.

We had a great show on Friday, we played 3rd out of 4 bands to over 300+ people and laid waste to their faces, we had other bands producers coming up to us saying their mind was blown, and the venues sound guy is all up on our nuts. It felt great. Then yesterday we had a photoshoot for an upcoming spread in BrightYoungThings for a show of theirs we are playing, and the photographer even shot some video for us and wants to do a full music video for us, and she said we were the most professional and funnest band she has ever worked with (as far as booking / communications, talent, and willingness to try crazy poses / scenes n stuff) check out her site: http://www.gokateshoot.com
tl;dr: this weekend was one of those weekends that reassures all your musical efforts are worth the sacrifices
