That post is a perfect example of the typical know-it-all TGP overthinker/gear romantic. I loathe TGP for numerous reasons but that's the big one. Only this time it focused on a pll instead of overdrive. All I wanna know is who the fuck is gonna clone a functional pll and when will it be available for purchase. I'm not on a spiritual quest here, not trying to weild some powerful magic I must fully comprehend in order to possess. I'm just after them JP tones.

I had to step away from this board for a day because zetamkii's nonsense pissed me off so much, just like it does on TGP where he posts in literally EVERY thread about Spaceman stuff, speculating, talking shit, etc. just like he is here with this. Only this is way more patronizing/annoying. Dude is on some Johnny-come-lately, know-it-all trip that is fucking maddening to me, for some reason. Sage advice here though:

exactly and i went away and did my research as to what the fuck a phased locked loop is in the first place
most people dont even know what it is and what its used for yet it makes us rabid

and then after researching it i realized its pretty standard and is what it is and anyone who did there work could build a PLL and you dont need to reverse shit
THATS WHY! ITS NOT SPECIAL. its a phase locked loop with a multiplier and divider and a whole bunch of on and off switches

I'd say Schumann was more the Pollack of pedals, by the looks of his wiring. I wouldn't pay over $200 for something wired THAT poorly, much less $2k.
