I almost got a Michigan tattoo a few months back, but then I got a badass Cthulhu tattoo instead!![]()
Honestly, signal splitting is the best thing I've ever done for my tone. Sure I got a lot of equipment to move around, but it's worth it. My guitarist tells me that I don't need two amps to be heard, and I tell him that he doesn't understand what I'm doing with them.
And the musicman amps are astounding! I will never get rid of them, ever.
My right arm is dedicated to Michigan/growing up in Michigan.
I'm still there though.

I went to a lot of local hardcore/punk/metal shows from like 03-06 before I moved. If you ever spent time at Jamestowne Hall, the Skyroom, Eastland Lanes in Essexvile or any other varying venues around town chances are we've seen each other in passing up in Bay City/Saginaw area.
And then the Michiganders took over the Amp thread.

Lived in Bay City most of my life actually! I'm 24 now, so it is entirely possible.
I've played at Jamestown Hall so freaking much, although the start was in 2005-2006. I was in a band called The Cripples at the time
I also played for Desiring Dead Flesh for ONE show.- Derelict78

I'm still kinda kicking myself for not hitting up that 25% off end-of-the-year Verellen sale.
It was the perfect timing. He was selling stuff to come up with the funds to place an order. The very same day he got his $2,500 I saw the sale announced and was like "DUDE CALL THIS MOTHER FUCKER RIGHT NOW!" Haha. So he bought an Elite II Precision bass with his left over moneys.
Amp sounds super awesome.

Long story short....
My Orange Ad 30 single ch. Head I thought was broken from fire damage in a studio/jam space is now working again.
More details after.
Im running a Hiwatt, The Orange though a 15 home made cab, and my Marshall.
Here's a pic.
Been a long time collecting this gear, and im loving the results.

Damn, that's fortunate. Congrats to you and your bassist (it's always good to have a bassist in your band who will sound as good as a Meat Smoke).

I've been jonesing after a JCM800 Bass Series. There's one for sale here in Ireland. It has a Marshall 4x12 with it, too.
