My boring story. I started guitar a couple years ago and used the Hal Leonard guitar method three book set. They were really great, but since then I have had no systematic course for learning my musikz. I have fucking shitloads of books out the ass, some expensive. Iphone apps, packages of vids with booklet and tabs, and so much merdypoopoo that I sometimes can't breathe. Can someone just jot down a small purview of what to study, what specific book, what textbook or whathaveyou so I can continue not just by wrote sightreading but playing somes in the keys. I am having high hopes for this thread to become something instructive, but if not, there's always dope. Or not. Thanks for your interests. There's a couple great books by William leavitt- modern method and melodic rhythms. Do you have those? Also try the bird omnibook. What's your location?
