Yeah, the price should be similar enough.

So I've been GAS'in so hardcore for one of these but I can't get down with that price for only 300ms of delay time. However, Todd from Endangered Audio Research just dropped some good new about the "Deluxe" model they've been whispering about forever now. Apparently they just found a solution a problem that was holding up development and expect it to be released within the next two months.

The new features he mentioned:

1. 900ms of delay time
2. CV/Exp capabilities
3. Tap Tempo

Also, it will retain the awesome cosmetics along with every feature the original AD4096 sported. Only bad news will probably be the price tag. :(

You are a dick. Now i want that. :(

Shit yeah. Tap tempo is essential for live playing I think. This thing with tap tempo would be really badass. Not to mention longer delay time which is nive and CV/Exp which is also nice. But the Tap Tempo is what makes me think about upgrading, actually.

I replaced my Musket a long time ago and haven't looked back but I've always wanted to try a Blunderbuss. Intrigued by the Fix'd Deluxe as well. Been sitting on a PGS credit, saw this sexy beast and figured why not....

I was just getting ready to PM you, get your thoughts on the standard version. Wasn't sure if you still had it and loved it or what....

I really like it, one of the best Delays I've tried. It just feels right, very responsive to dynamics and there is not a bad sound in it. I like the short, bathroom-cubicle type delay times best though, longer would be nice but only if they manage to keep the knob travel more or less the same. Maybe by having a switch between long and short times. But with Tap Tempo the story is different anyway.

Edit:

I finally got the clone of the baa:

Fucking amazing, as far as I can tell after only playing it for pretty short.
