GOOD GOD!!

i was wondering how i missed this
is ronripper still around

Yeah, I'm still here. That setup, while intimidating to looked at, sucked. Pain in the ass to move and transport, and really wasn't very loud. Much much much happier ever since I switched to the berg 215/610 with the sunn 1200s. Easy to move, sounds better, at least twice as loud, and a fraction of the maintence.

Skull is right, I have been selling off most of my pedals. After around 9 years of copious pedal swapping, I know what I like, need, and use. I got tired of hoarding pedals and making setups that I use for a week then abandon for something new, wasting way too much money in the process. Now I'm condensing down to a few things that are perfect for what I need, yet still versatile enough to keep me entertained with new tones that I will actually use. I'm really excited about this as it will allow me to focus on my playing, writing, and learning to get the most out of the pedals I'm using.

Now I just need a synth again...that moog sub phatty is really speaking to me.

Sunn 1200s with Bergantino NV610 and NV215

The pedal board is different from this pic now, its korg pitchblack > customized Fuzzrocious Demon King > Moog MF-104M w/Mission expression pedal.

You shouldn't be, the Emperor bass cabs ignore some basic things that modern cab makers have figured out over the past 10/20 years.

Small EQ is correct the NV610 with my long gone Aguilar ag500 was louder and moved more air (while sounding better) than that whole emperor setup. The sunn and additional NV215 just made it all better and louder.

Nick, if and when it's time for me to get a tube amp again, you're the only person I want to talk to about one.
