but yeah, i now what you mean...i hang out on the Gretsch Pages, and sometimes it's like a fucking museum. i particularly enjoy it when some superannuated soul complains about how the Beatles ruined rock and roll :picard:

(Not that biological age really makes a big difference, but what you're exposed to in your formative can be a heavy influence on how you think later in life.)

i just have to take a moment to big up a couple of folks as examples of why ILF rules the school. there was a "WHAT'S ON YOUR CHRISTMAS LIST" thread where i moped about the fact that since i lost my ex and moved here from Santa Cruz i don't have anyone to make a Christmas list FOR...Bassboar decided that he'd be my Santa Claus, and sent me a Fairfield Operator. and when i mentioned on the IdiotBox Tourbox thread that i was curious about the Mad Doctor Stutter, jrmy pinged me and said he had one lying around the house he wasn't using and sent it to me for free.

HOW FUCKING COOL IS THAT? EXTREMELY
