Also how do you get your volume adjusted right and aany tips for eq? I have one bassy and mid pumped the other mid scooped and a little trebly with lots of bass tossed in too.

BASS

I run a dual rig.
Verellen Loucks--> hex cabs Giant Killer It's very mid rangey and bitey (run a BAT BF->badascan into this head)
Red Bear MKE120--> Emperor 4x12. It's more low-mids/bassy. (Run an elements->Fuzzrociou Rat King into this head)

I recently got a 2x15. Haven;t had a chance to put it through its paces yet which is a shame.

PICS MOTHERFUCKER!

I run a dual rig. An incredibly small dual rig, but it's still all sorts of fun. I really need to start looking at distortion pedals for the Ampeg for when fuzz just isn't doing it for me.

Here was the pic i sent in for the HC contests. Pretty much what i was running the last shows we played.

That's with the 2x15. Everything fits together much nicer now.
My major issue is sizes of the heads. Red bears are tall and wide as shit, but skinny. The verellen is short and thin when you look at it, but it is about 4 inches wider than the redbear, but it is just wide enough that only 2 of the rubber feet fit on top of the redbear and everything sits at a weird angle.

That's pretty slick, I like it!!! What kinda fuzz circuit are you gonna throw in there? Like a one knob wonder / meathead style?

To my ears a muff sounds best with octave down.

This place that takes old materials from wood to chairs to fabric has a Laney 2x12 slant cab they are going to sell. It's from the early 90s and went with the AOR series. Hoping to get this on the cheap.

Agreed, makes it uber beefy. I was just under the impression you meant only three controls clean / octave / fuzz.

Just a friendly FYI my friend, unlike many of these other one knobbers out there, the Ape Blaster (what you referred to as the OKW there) is not at all anywhere even close to being remotely in any way like a Meathead. Not electronically, not sonically. I hope I'm not coming off douchey but the slash between the two would seem to indicate interchangeability and I can't abide it bro :thumb:

Keep me posted on this. If you don't dig it and it's not an ultra big piece of shit I may be able to take it off your hands. It's the same size as my other 2x12s. Symmetry WOOT :!!!:

It is inbetween a normal 2x12 and a 4x12. Suppose to be just like the marshall cab that is the same size. So it may be like what you already have. Getting it for 125. Will let you know if I don't want it or not.

Woops. :picard: I used OKW more as a reference to a one knob fuzz not as a reference to the ape blaster. I truly apologize my friend if I caused any confusion.

That's a solid price. 2x12s like that are the best 2x12s IMO - not that I'm super biased or anything.

Yeah, I am pretty pumped. I will be running a 2x12 and a 4x12 per amp once I get my other 2x12 finished and the new 4x12 complete as well.

Hay don't sweat it! I just wanted to clarify. I certainly borrowed from more than one place to come up with the thing, it's just that the Colorsound One Knob Fuzz (Meathead and a million others) is not one.

I just got word that my bass fuzz (I'll talk about this more in the future) is all over the upcoming Uzala record :!!!: :!!!: :!!!: :!!!: :!!!: :!!!: :!!!: :!!!: :!!!: :!!!: :!!!: :!!!: :!!!:
