Broken Wang Bar, help

I broke my gf's wang bar off her strat, like the threading literally just broke off and now some if it is still threaded into the guitar, whats the best way to get the remaining wang out?

You may be able to glue or epoxy something to it that will allow you to turn it.
You could also try needle nose pliers depending on how deep in it's broken off.

theres a tool for this. It's a specialized drill bit. Should be able to find one at any auto parts store or home dept whatever. call around and ask

This method is kind of a pain though. I'd use it as a last resort.
You could replace the whole bridge for around $20.

yea bridge may be best, its deep, and I have the drill bit, but I know how the drill bit works, which is not TOO well. btw it's a starcaster strat and she dpesn't care but its awesome and it's sparkle black iwth white pearloid pickguard. fucking wang bars

I used a screw extractor and it worked wonderfully.

if the hole where the bar screws into is a through hole, drill from the back of the hole with a bit about 1/2 to 2/3 diameter of the bar. when the drill bites in, it will unscrew the bar helps to center punch before drilling to keep it centred

Or unscrew and replace the trem block.

ALSO, I have a similar problem. I got my Squier Jazzy set up, and mentioned I'd be using the trem arm a lot, and the guy somehow has it to where I cannot remove it from the guitar now. Literally no fucking clue how he did this. It will rotate fully in either direction infinitely.

yea man, be careful spinning it, that's what happened to me, it would turn and turn in both directions, then the thread just broke off.

Same here. Common problem on Modern Players, and I assume some other Fenders too.
