Harmony Central moved their forums to a new ad-laden, hard-to-read, censoring piece of shit platform so a lot of people are turning towards better forums. And what a better place to be that's geared around fuzz!

Hey, dude. What bands do you play in? I can't think of any at the moment, but my cousin might. He lived there for 10 years and just came back recently.

Do you know any Kennedys out there? I have family that I haven't seen for years from there.

Sup. You can call me rusty. I'm a lurker. On the internet. Up until recently I've split my offline time between the Hudson Valley NY and Northern Valley NJ. Now I'm here. For now.
Child from the 80s, came up in the 90s. Part of the Nintendo Generation. I'm old enough to remember the pre-internet world yet too young to have taken full advantage. It was still a blast.
I've made the transformation from a thriftshop audiophile wannabe to a noisemaking artist wannabe. Teaching myself as I go, it's an explorative journey full of wonder and discovery. Interested in good times, and embracing my inner creep. I have opinions about all kinds of dumb shit and my false idols are old men, beautiful women and Aspies for their ability to just say anything and get right to the point. It's usually the most entertaining method as well.
I've been told I have an attitude problem and an inappropriate sense of humor, to which my prepared response is "NO U"
And I missed the 1337 post by 1 goddam reply. Story of my life.

Re: = Introduce Yourself =
So i moved here as part of the HC exile...and have been on these forums for the last few weeks...so this introduction is a little overdue.
but anyway, I'm Sam, originally from Sydney, Australia; but I've been living in London for the last 4 years.
born in the 70's, found metal in the 80's with bands like Iron Maiden, Metallica (pre Black album) etc, found Death Metal in late 80's early 90's. The the last 20 years i spent listening to everything i had missed out on, older metal, blues, classic rock, prog rock, industrial metal etc etc etc and a lot of Opeth.
Played guitar for a few years in my teens then gave it up after our band broke up...started back up when i got to London, and i was bitten by the bug...and whilst looking for some online tutorials, i stumbled upon someone teaching El Coyote by Goatsnake...that's where my love for Stoner/Doom began...since then i have gone from 1 guitar to 3, buying and selling a few on the way...2 amps, buying and selling about 5 on the way...and shit load of pedals, most of which have been Fuzz!
Recently i put together a band and we have been jamming for the last 3 months, however just had a baby, so the band is on the backburner for a few months. But i have plans to get back in the studio and put together a good 5 tracks and start gigging with band later this year.
BTW, the band is called Souls of Osiris.
