Someone point me in a good direction for a power amp for guitar for the Verellen Meatsmoke pedal i'll be receiving soon.

Short list is VHT/Fryette 2 90 2, Mesa 2 90, Marshall Monobloc 9100/9200 or EL34 50/50 EL34 100/100.

Anyone ever mod the Marshalls? Would KT88/6550 fit in them? Is there a good power amp that would also work for bass also?

Playing some heavy doom/stoner stuff.

It will be powering a VHT Fatbottom 4x12 and a Emperor 2x12 with weber 65's.

Any and all opinions would be great.
