Re: The shaving thread
Back in the day I used to be able to do that. No mirror, no cream, just a hot shower.
Now I wouldn't dream of that and I only have to shave about half of my neck. My skin is just super sensitive now.

Re: The shaving thread
I just feel for mt beard line and shave to that. I'll trim the long bastards that stick out with a scissor, but the rest of it seems to go way smoother and more naturally in the shower.

Re: The shaving thread
I've just started shaving my head properly. I used to cut it down with a trimmer and leave it like that, but I've taken the plunge into full razoring.

Joe Gress wrote:So serious question, anyone go by feel and shave in the shower? I haven't shaved in front of a mirror in months. I do keep a beard though, and only shave my neck and other areas to keep it trim looking.
I much prefer the shower though. It's warm and hydrating, doesn't burn or irritate, and to me I can get a closer and better shave. No cream either, just hot water.
I thought about it, but instead I just shave right after getting out of the shower. No cream here either. Hot water in the basin, razor to the face! Like a BOSS.

Re: The shaving thread
a shaving forum?
the internet is replacing dads
actually i learned to shave in rehab/tc
when i got there i was a barefaced 15 yr old
i got out at 18
so i definately went through some changes
but yeah
generic single blade disposables
we had to shave everyday
and they gave us new ones
once a month
if they felt like it
that might be why i hate shaving

You can have them ship every other month instead of every month if you want.
