I actually have 2 of them (original) - the one I waited for 15 months and one I bought from someone before my name came up (yes I'm an impatient fuck)

So I actually have a total of 3 currently

The brand new 2013 version is actually my buddy's which he just got (waited longer than I did) but I might buy it off him if he doesn't want to keep it.

It basically takes the 3 position mid toggle and puts those frequencies into knob form. On top of that is an ultra-treble or presence - the sizzle knob.

So a total of 6 bands, boost and cut.

unnnnnng. the Mobius is.... exactly what i thought. fucking useless in the first 6 or 7 models (the vibe is pretty cool actually. fuck the filer or flanger or phaser though. and chorus can eat my dick.) but the pattern trem is gooood and the crusher (destroyer?) and am/fm modulation thingie (quadrawhatever) has some SHIT.

Is it worth the price? That already sucks to hear about the flanger and phaser.... I like those and I'd want it to sound GOOD.

I actually dig the other modes on the Mobius (well maybe not so much Vibe and Rotary, and I have MUCH better filters elsewhere) but agree completely that the trems, Destroyer and Quadrature are where it really shines. I am not a phaser expert by any means but I like it well enough. Same with the chorus and flanger. The Quadrature machine is definitely my favourite and I haven't really dug into the possibilities with expression on it yet.

I love the Mobius for the vintage and pattern trem, destroyer, and quadrature too. The vibe and rotary aren't bad, phaser is ok. I have FAR BETTER phaser, chorus and flanger options tho. Guess I'm gonna need a different filter option too as that model leaves much to be desired.
