Haha, I can relate to this awkwardness. My work is not the ideal place to be popping random gear boners.

Ghost Baa

Phantasmagorovich, what was the story with this - did you send Ian an original Bee Baa to rehab or something? Am I remembering that right?

That's how it went down I'm pretty sure.

Think I remember hearing the Ghost Baa will be hella limited and quite costly to boot. Ugh, do want tho...

My Hardwire Supernatural has arrived, which means my second board should be complete. Gonna be fun wiring it all up this weekend.

I was just informed the Ghost Baa is a one-off (thought I'd heard of more than one guy waiting for one, maybe not :idk:) and won't be produced again for quite some time.

I've been looking at that one to pair with my dispatch master as a black hole ambience generator. How natural/organic does it sound?

I only got to try it for a few minutes, so it's hard for me to say. "Natural" and "organic" are not really what I got the pedal for. I got it huge boomy ambient shit, and it sounds fantastic for that. I'll give it another shot tonight and see if I can get more "normal" reverb sounds out of it.

Yeah, I'm kinda a pedal n00b right now so I'm not sure what the words are for the sound I'm trying to get. Basically I want to sound like I'm at the bottom of an ocean in the middle of space

Ah, ok. In that case, the Supernatural sounds like exactly what you want.

Usually when people say "natural" or "organic" when talking about reverb, I think they're asking if it sounds similar to like a classic amp's reverb, or if it sounds like an actual "room" or "hall". But none of those sounds ever really appealed to me. I usually want most of my effects to sound as unnatural as possible. :thumb:
