I'm a college kid in North Texas who loves pedals! I play bass and my passion is music. I go to a lot of concerts in the area. I'm keen to experimental music, heavy and not heavy. Here's my top 100 albums:http://i.imgur.com/Gsu89.jpg
I joined these forums because I need a new forum fix and this place seems right up my alley. Also it'd be cool to get input from other people with all my pedal questions. I've recently fallen in love with pedals (makes it hard to spend money on anything else)
Cheers!
DO YOU GO TO UNT? QUICK, TOP THREE LOCAL BANDS.
Yes I do.
I've not gotten very deep into the local music scene but from Denton I like Innards, Senor Fin and Babar.
DUDE, INNARDS, BEST BAND EVER. WE PROBABLY HAVE MET EACH OTHER

Hello ILF,
my name is Simon, I'm a singer / songwriter from Germany and love all sounds low and slow, distorted and twisted.
Because of limited space and mostly because I only get to make music when everyone else is asleep, I don't own a guitar amplifier. Recording a guitar straight to soundcard with no further treatment sounded obnoxious and all the those fine VST amp-sims don't run on Linux, so I've resorted to using PODs, impulse response plugins and currently an AMT F1 pedal with a cabinet sim output. To create a more crushing, vibrant tone I've started to combine multiple distortion and fuzz pedals and have added more noisy / soundscapy texture to my music.
My collection of pedals is rather small, so far my favorite fuzz is The Great Destroyer and I've ordered an Algal Bloom, which I'm very excited for. And although I up to date have no clue how to incorporate them in my songs, I absolutely love my B.B.S and Rot Yr Brain.
Found ILF to be a place with lot's of information and discussion about weird pedals, love the vibe and ardour.

Hola!
I'm Mickey and I'm a guitarist and an old school pool skater. I've been a fuzznut since I listened to my first 8-track, Zep I. When I first picked up the guitar, I knew I needed to get that sound. I fuzz arsenal primarily consists of ProAnalog boxes. In fact, I've got one of just about everything Scotty made. I'm here to explore a more modern take on all things fuzzy.
Git sum!

Suuuuup...
Bass player that wants some totally out of control fuzz boxes in my quest for world domination through fuzzy distorted destruction!
So suggestions are greatly appreciated and all of that snazzy jazz.
Look forward to discussing with y'all.

I've been lurking here for quite some time and thought I should finally introduce mself. I love pedals but tbh I don't really have that many and have never bought tons. I played guitar and sang in bands for a long time but since the bands broke up, been getting more into synthesis... and pedals. So... yeah, I guess I'm up to about 15 or so now. Just got a Fairfield Four Eyes. Loving it although it's not a real set er n forget er. Luckily it's got the cv in and I have some toys to use that with.

Edit: also, I just switched to using Opera on my phone, which I dig but it's been acting weird on some Submit buttons.

Greetings! I am a long time lurker and a worshiper of all things fuzz. I have been known to make the odd fuzz box or two.
Great forum!
