The movie is only up on wednesday. yesterday we only met for a little more than an hour. She told me she wanted to take things slower and started pouring a mess of confusion out on the table. sigh. it seems i have a winner, haha.

Yeah, usually I give the song time to "bake" in my head, listening to the melody and letting it dictate the song. Then I usually get the idea for the solo bubbling out of the melody, something not to flashy but that complements the material nicely.
