It also gives a better string break angle over the nut. Which is pretty important considering the cutout of the headstock is necessary for weight reduction/balance but doesn't leave room for string trees.
um... yeah.. I get that... but "normally" the machine heads point towards the back so you don't have to reach around the front of the head to tune...

So stoked. I did a FUCKTON of research on Obstructures. Unlike EGC the body is solid and milled, not two pieces like most aluminum bodied EGC's. It's Gibson scale, so a little short, but I've not played anything but my Jaguar all week, so its not an issue. Gonna have some good shit for sale this week
