DANOBD (day after new old bass day), Epiphone ripper converted to neck thru with a fuck off huge big ol hunk of aluminium. I'll take a photo of the back of it because its MASSIVE, which is cool because I have big monkey hands and I always found the ripper neck too thin. Sounds incredible, like ten p basses at once but with that piano like ric sustain.
If you don't mind me asking, how much was the renecking? I only ask because I like that headstock 1000x better than EGC
ummm, around about the same as an EGC replacement neck? He does me a bit of a deal because I'm his first 'customer' so to speak but yeah, by the time I've given him some more money for his time it will be about the same as what it would've cost to get an EGC done. In australian dollars.
Funnily enough next thing I'm probs gonna do is an EGC neck for my mascis squier.
Here is my P bass special which has been used and abused since I was a younger lad. I don't think they make em' anymore... I recall seeing the Big Business bass player using one...made me happy.
