First of all, fuck off for the sarcastic quotation marks around the word special.

Secondly, I mean it. Even the Bush administration was full of very smart people. They just did very not good things.

And also, keep in mind that the States repealed alcohol prohibition long before the federal government did. At some point the federal government will have to comply because they'll lose their jurisdiction.

Well prohibition and it's elimination were constitutional amendments which requires 3/4 of the states to approve anyway.
