in two months i've only increased by two pedals, both bs/ss cause that's what initially led me here. not too bad.
but I blame all of you for the now crippling amp lust boiling deep inside my nethers. most likely the culminating factor of my future financial destitution.

Fact: when I first joined ILF, I had maybe five pedals.

Now... let's just say I've got a lot more than that.

THAT SAID, as I like to point out to my loved ones, there are such great deals on b/s/t here and heads-ups on sweet discounts elsewhere that I've literally saved hundreds of dollars off what I WOULD HAVE SPENT otherwise. (except for the fact that, yeah, I never would have known about those awesome pedals I had to buy in the first place otherwise)

Fact: I used to have a fuzz and two distortions for dirt before joining (plus a channel selector, noisegate and a chorus). My old band mates used to roll eyes on me thrashing through songs through them full blast, when nobody in those bands used more than one pedal. For many it was a tuner.

Joined because wanted to go freely bonkers with fuzz after leaving those bands on my parental leave. NOW my pedalboard is my main instrument. I just happen to use a bass to controll that most of the time.

Before I joined the forum, I had just found out about Malekko, had just purchased my Sovtek Muff, and had gotten a POG in a trade.

Thousands of dollars later, I've still got the Muff, been through 4 amps, 5 guitars, and probably 60 pedals. Goddamnit I love you guys

when i joined ILF i had two pedals, and only used the Distortion+. now i have sixteen pedals on my main board. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED?

Only $200 a month on gear? How in the fuck is THAT going to stimulate the economy. Let's work and see if we can get that up to $350 a month by December and maybe $500 by 2013.
