Did I miss the debates and political charades or are we just skipping right to the elections? Also absentee ballots? Electoral college?

I'm pretty sure you missed the charades. Debates more or less never happened. No electoral college, we're a direct democracy here.

What the fuck even is this? Why is Tom not the President? What actual authority is the eventual winner going to claim? I assumed all of those weird banners in everyone's sigs was some sort of weird in-joke that I missed. I guess I was right.
