^ Agreed!
The hardware on this thing is HELLA impressive for a MIM Fender. Tuners are stout as well, vintage-style with huge posts and Fender stamped backs, good quality. The pickups rule too, fat and articulate with lots of low end punch.

Yeah, it plays really well, the neck is soooooo comfortable and that body resonates something fierce, really sings even unplugged. On first glance, seems like it would hang weird or dive or whatever but I feel right at home with it thus far.
Plugged in it sounds absolutely wonderful, my kinda bass. Nice mix of fat, punchy smoothness while retaining some great clarity. And those HBs LOVE the fuzz/dirt so that's a HUGE bonus.

Sweet bass.
I wish someone would make a set of real Jaguar or Jazzmaster bass pickups that would make the Jag so much cooler.

I dig it!

Got to play my new Dingwall at practice last night. I think I'm in love, from the sound, to the feel of the neck, to the lightweight (8lbs 4oz) perfectly balanced body, just a flat out enjoyable experience all the way around.

Not to pile on, but I have felt since the day I got one that G&L is seriously the most underrated builder out there; at least for basses. I feel like the L-2500 gets me 90% of the Wal tone for 1/5th the price. And I've had the chance to play HH stingrays before. The L2000/2500 beats it tonewise, hands-down in my opinion.
could not have said it better, its pretty my the only brand of bass that I think I will own.

Re: Let's see your BASS!

My one and only:
2002 Warwick 5 string bolt-on, ovangkol/ovangkol w/wenge fretboard, stock MEC pickups and 2-band eq (left flat most of the time).
Bought used and abused, then refinished it. Body has a light eurothane coat, but the neck is still open grain and bees-waxed often.
Currenty using DR Drop Down Tuning (set to BEADG, 135-55)...
It's totallys metals...

That Spector picture would have been better if I had matching strings and cleaned it off.

I also have a Yamaha RBX765A. Don't really have many good pictures, unfortunately.
