i saw "somewhere" that it was a fuzz factory w/ a starve knob but i don't believe those ugly rumourz.

It's not a Fuzz Factory, but it is based on the same principal, I believe:

All I have to say is that i am extremely pleased that I got my WC when I did. It is turning out to be my favorite fuzz pedal beating out sshhhhhh, my previous favorite, Devi Ever's Soda Meiser and Hyperion.

Maybe the WC will be reincarnated someday ...
