I'm currently killing some time with a cheesy Michael Connelly book called the Black Ice. I'm anxiously awaiting The Twelve by Justin Cronin.

I read that URL and thought "wait...did that say discrete mathematics with ducks? no...it must be a mistake."

Needless to say, my surprise and amusement was immense :p

Just finished Eat My Globe, by Simon Majumdar, which was fun. About to start The Mirage, by Matt Ruff, because I love Matt Ruff.

I read his name as Ratt Muff, which would have been awesome.

So I just read Eon and the sequel, Eternity, by Greg Bear. Good imaginative science fiction. After that, an earlier variation on the same theme, Rendezvous with Rama, by Arthur C. Clark, very excellent. Apparently Rama has some sequels, so I'll probably check those out. Starting A Canticle for Leibowitz now.

oddly enough, i'm reading Foundation by Asimov...it's one of the few books here at my cousin's house that seems interesting to me, and one of the Asimov books i've never read. i used to be huge into science fiction before SF devolved into fantasy and lame political tracts.

I love that series; I reread it every now and then. Foundation and Empire is my favorite.
