Re: Jazzmaster Bridge Woes....
I've never used TUSQ Saddles before, so let me know how that goes! And I've not used the trem arm since I've put the Mastery on. I'm just kind of scared to. But I will try it out soon. I need to take the strings and pickguard off and resolder the pickup switch because its started to cut out for whatever reason

Re: Jazzmaster Bridge Woes....
QUE? grab that arm mang! that's 95% of why i own a jazzmaster...the trem system is SO stable. People have this false thought that it wrecks tuning and it doesn't!
I run graphtech stuff on all my guitars - LOVE THEIR STUFF! They just sent me some tune-o-matic saddles for my RD, those are getting tossed on when the pickups arrive. Also in the box were samples of their new picks - WHOLEY CRAP they are cool - stiff little buggers too.

of course, you obviously don't need TUSQ or Stringsaver saddles with your setup, Skully....

hahahahah yeahhhhhh there is NO way those strings are going anywhere anymore ahhahaha
I do most of my bending with my fingers, so to move from a hardtail mindset to the Jazzmaster trem mindset has taken a bit of getting used to. BUT I'd LOVE to try the trem arm with some of these new delays that landed. YES

I'd used it when I had 11's on it and it seemed to step down a half step. But I must just be fucking rough on EVERYTHING haha.

Re: Jazzmaster Bridge Woes....
I meant it went a half step out of tune when I would bend with the trem arm after I was done bending haha
When I would bend I'd get 3 steps too!

Re: Jazzmaster Bridge Woes....
it's not about how you bend, that trem gives you so many sonic possibilities...
like with harmonics... OOOOH SEXY
it's a very different sound as opposed to finger vibrato or anything else... the closest think i've ever tried was a Bigsby on Gretsch guitars
anyway... it doesn't fuck up my tuning very much, but sometimes my G and low E go out of tune... G goes sharp even... E gets a bit flat. so i hope those TUSQ saddles might help with the strings slipping back to the right position when tremoloing

Re: Jazzmaster Bridge Woes....
I really want the Mastery Bridge for my Japanese JM but the setup look a lot harder to manage than the standard saddles. How was getting your string height and intonation setup? Its defiantly not my strong point. My JM has not been played much due to the low E string slipping on the saddle all the time and it just drives me nuts. I really miss playing it.

Easy as pie dude. I really didn't have to do a whole lot to it to be honest with you. SUPER easy to set up, with ZERO movement of my strings
