Z-Converter? COOL! What transformers did you use?

I just got my 4x12 cab... still no amp in sight, tho :cry:

allows you to match the desired amp impedance to the whatever cab impedance is needed. Id rate that guy for 50-75W use, although the iron rates for 100W. Weber makes the iron but anyone could wind it for you. Might have Heyboer make some for me if the product is worth my time.

Ah that's cool, and really handy. My Peavey Roadmaster ONLY has 4 ohm out!

I think so too. It's got another parallel output, but it's also for 4 ohms. What guitar head do you know that runs at 2 ohms? sheesh. At least it sees a lot of bass duties now a days

Cool! After this weekend my scheduel should be a lil more flexible for a couple weeks, stay on top of my (my memory is a lil hazy) and we'll figure out a day we can all meet up and record this lil fuzzdown!

The NMV Ampeg V4 I had, had a 2-4-8 ohm switch on the back.

4 ohms is good for bassy tones, so it beefs up my single coils nicely naturally, with I lovvvvve
