Currently though...the new Swans album "The Seer" is fucking awesome!
Bunch of random 80s dance music, the bass lines are sick. Primarily started getting more into it through the recent mixtape release by Foals.

Hmm about Chelsea Light Moving : Im not really into it.

As a longtime follower of Sonic Youth I have been disappointed by them both together and individually since Rather Ripped.
Seems they (especially Thurston) do stuff that comes easy to them, where before they were constantly renewing themselves.
Records like Washing Machine, A Thousand Leaves and Nyc Ghosts & Flowers sounds like a band constantly questioning themselves and trying out new stuff.
