And that is the angle from above looking down on it. There is about a 5-10 degree bend in both E strings from the tailpiece to the saddle before going parallel to the other strings from the saddle to the nut. It's ONLY the E strings, the others A-D-G-B are totally parallel.
strange on the angle thing! should be like this....
Ah I was talking about the strings sitting on the saddle. The stock JM bridge and Mustang bridge sit straight, but I suppose I'd have to angle it if I went AOM

Im going to take some pictures tonight of what is going on with the Mustang bridge. I'll first take a picture of the bridge with the strings all on as they should be, and the angle created on the E strings. Then I will take a picture of both E strings popped out of their saddles for reference.
Hopefully I'll just be able to file down the Mustang saddles and throw them into the Jazzmaster bridge. If not, I guess it's a Mastery... I just sent off a lengthy email to Mastery with my concerns about finding a bridge for the Jazzmaster. I'm going to see what he says about thier bridges with a baritone. I REALLY just don't want to drop that kind of money if I dont have to
With the Warmoth bridge I could adjust the radius to match the 9.5" of the neck instead of the vintage 7.25" that the CIJ Mustang bridge is out now. But i'm still not sure if that would fix the angle of the E strings.
I could always angle the bridge saddles inwards to bring that angle down. Pictures soon
Yeah. Well, I'm hoping that pictures will be able to clear it up for everyone and get a solid answer. Plus it'll be a nice excuse to break out my DSLR for the first time in a few months instead of my camera phone haha
Fuck it. Just squared away some funds and I'll be selling the stock VM bridge and CIJ bridge and I'll be getting a Mastery. If they can survive Thurston and .16's, I suppose they can survive me.

that was going to be my next recommendation...in fact i was { this } close to ordering one myself, just to see if they really are the bee's knees....
And this is after about 10 minutes (sorry its blurry, I just realized it):
It is JUST the E strings.
Don't have as much money as I thought. Ended up buying and paying the difference on a 1x12 that I'm actually taking back to the music store tomorrow. Can't handle my amps. MIGHT be able to swing the bridge after my paycheck Thursday
