So why the fuck didn't he get on here and fix it himself? Seriously. I don't care how long someone has been a member of this forum or any forum. You have to communicate. We all understand that life happens, but people keep doing this shit.

Tourboxes, trades, secret santas...whatever. It's getting close to not being able to trust people up in here.

Well, in my eyes: there are allowances for reasons i'd like allowances made. If someone has some shit happen, or stuff goes wrong in the post, I'm not going to freak out if things take a while to get sorted out. I had to allay payment to Brian of ss/bs for a couple days. AFTER he had gone about shipping a pedal due to miscommunication on my end.

This was years ago. Early ILF days for myself, Ttmeframe wise. And he was a-ok about it. I paid him the moment I was able, which fit in the timeline offered. Embarrassed as I was, i dealt with a guy who was the nicest guy I coulda dealt with.

If things have been shipped, or nobody has been cost a dime but there's a slight delay, all is well. Life happens, in my eyes.

I'm working construction now, and this shit happens (albeit analagously) all the time, professionally. So I deal with it, move on. If you haven't been robbed, you haven't been hard done by: my own philosophy.
I play.

When I messaged him, he asked if I could clear things up in this thread, as the WiFi connection at that time was shite and he was unable to do it himself then

I mean that's understandable and all, I get it. I just get weary of this stuff on ILF. It's a small community and it bothers me. You get to really, really liking everyone and then something bad happens. Just sucks.

I'm glad this one worked out though.

It is frustrating to hear of b/s/t mishaps and all. While still a small-ish community, ILF has grown exponentially since I joined. More people, greater odds of shady bid'ness getting conducted. Doesn't make it right, just makes these things more probable. And that's in no way me pointing fingers at new members, just doin' maff. Hopefully this thread, at the very least, will raise awareness that ILF doesn't like shade-tree ass motherfuckers who do bad biz. I just know that HT ain't the screwin' type. I've been wrong before (Elban), but I just know that this'll turn out fine (if it hasn't already).

The thing is, it seems as if most the problems (there really aren't that many) in the B/S/T have been with the folks who've been here awhile.
I haven't heard of any problems with new/low post count members at all. :idk:

Fair enough.

How long have you been waiting? I got in touch with him Friday. He didn't say when he shipped, just that he did. My "role" as mediator is a bit compromised, as I am without a home computer right now.

I see. All I can tell you is that the emergency which may have caused the delay is family-related, requiring a fair amount of travel on HT's part. If it doesn't turn up within another week, then proceed with any and all "fuck HTSamurai/Old ILF" sentiments. But I'll put mah fuzz where my mouth is and bet any doubters my Pipe Amp that he'll come through. Any takers?

hey all, I 'have' been pretty sketchy and anything thats been said against me has basis in facts. no joke, I've been like....a certain other memeber who was quite respected then fucked with us all.
aside from the fact that I'm not fucking with anyone. just a series of bad events, which those of you who know me well/outside of and through ILF might be aware of.
but thats no excuse

the BIG trade was shipped last week at some point, not sure exactly when as I had my warehouse guy do it for me, I work at guitar center if you guys didn't already know.
but I can totally get the info today.

didn't read through the thread but there was another trade I lagged on, the one for the maestro. which was also shipped last week, however that one does weird me out if it hasn't been received yet. 'that' one for sure should have been received like....friday by the absolute latest. I shouldve put tracking on it for sure :/
I'll swim deep in this today, a good chunk of you have my phone number and even more of you are friends of mine of fb. seriously, feel free to hit me up, any and all of you.
not pulling anything over on anyone...and I seriously thank you guys for knowing me well enough to give me the benefit of the doubt (assuming of course you are, faggots)

<3
all this shit will get settled today, prrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrmsssssss.
