my first wife and I saw a UFO in 1979. i have no idea what it was, or even whether it was a material object, but it didn't behave like any explainable phenomenon i've ever seen. i don't necessarily believe that UFOs entail space aliens/are extraterrestrial, are explainable by secret weapons tests, or are holograms like Jacques Bergier proposed back in the 80s; any of these are possible, as are many other hypotheses. but having seen something myself and confirming the details with my co-witness, i believe that something other than viewer error and/or fraud is responsible for some fraction of sightings even though i also accept the debunking of many films/other sightings. i. just. don't. know.

that depends...are we talking the literal definition of Unidentified Flying Object? then of course I do...if we're talking aliums then no. I'm just naturally skeptical towards everything especially things lacking any empirical evidence. Of course I also accept the possibility that I'm a boring idiot with no imagination. but I do loves me some shaky UFO home movies and reading alleged abductee first hand accounts.

I've never seen a UFO or any proof that looked very believable but I definitely think life must exist elsewhere. To think that we're some unique snowflake in the whole universe is rather pretentious.

I eat hamburgers all the time. And the thing I'm going to miss most about Utah are these goddamned pastrami burgers:
Image

It's a horrible, sinful burger that's perfect if you're looking for food that fights being eaten. And in Utah you can get them at most locally owned hamburger places, even some of the bigger chains make them here. If you were looking for more evidence of Joseph Smith's first meeting with god really being a meeting with aliens look no further than this astronomically ancient evil of a burger that's served fairly exclusively in Utah.

Much what I believe too. Out of the countless number of other solar systems and planets in the galaxy, there must be at least one other instance of life out there.

I do not however believe that we are currently being visited by aliens, nor that they previously helped mankind to build the pyramids, etc.

I also have that poster!

I believe in the phenomenon of UFOs, and have seen a few things that I don't have a real explanation for. I believe that there is a decent chance of intelligent life elsewhere, and I'd like to believe that at least some UFOs are just that.
