I think bullshit. It's fucking annoying when you can't get people who want to see your band inside of a show, regardless of whatever the fuck the reason is. Apparently, the bar my band was playing at this evening was having a "cigarette promotion" so nobody under 21 could really be there. I'm playing. I'm 20. What the shit.

bullshit for various reasons that nobody cares to read about. Plus, bar gigs are awful on so many levels...

My bands used to play 21 and up shows when i was in hike school. None of us were even 18.

Unfortunately, it's just a fact of life when playing bar gigs. And bars are the only gigs there are in some areas, sad but true.
